Tomatoes pie

If you need an easy answer to the question “what are we gonna eat tonight?”, this recipe is for you. It’s very easy and quick to make and very tasty.

You can serve with a green salad on the side for a perfectly balanced dinner.




  • 1 pie crust

  • Gruyere

  • 3 tomatoes

  • Mustard

  • Herbes de provence

The recipe:

  • Place the pie crust in a pie dish and spread a thin layer of mustard on the crust.

  • Arrange pieces of gruyere  on it ( you can also use grated cheese) and then the sliced tomatoes.

  • Sprinke some herbes de provence on top of it and salt (and also pepper depending on your taste).

  • Put the pie in the oven for about half an hour at 400° F and it’s ready. Easy, isn’t it?
